Founded by the mages of Strom, Dalaran has served as the focus of magical learning throughout human history. Although its spires originally rose over Lordamere Lake, during the Nexus War the magi of Dalaran ripped the city from the ground to bring it to Northrend. The magocracy is led by the Council of Six, whose members are chosen from among the most senior mages of the Kirin Tor.
