❛ what do you expect? ❜ it took everything in him not to lash out or cause a commotion on the idea of her destroying what they both made, let alone ending a life that BELONGED TO THEM. ( it was a death wish in a sense, ) but he kept his cool exterior in tact in hopes that her words were from fear. fear of taking care of a child and not knowing what to do with times got tough. slightly calloused fingers brought forth a small glass of bourbon to his lips, its STRONG SPIRITS drowning his self doubt ( as a father ) within an instant. this wasn’t about him and he knew it ; it was about her. he knew her like the back of his hand & fear was taking over. he could see it in her eyes.

The way he smelled, the tone he always spoke in when speaking just to her and how gently he would caress her skin; even when she acted like she hated him.

“I love everything about him. That look he gives me that always makes my knees weak with the little twinkle between his glare. The way he grabs my hips. The way he kisses me. The way he speaks to me.” She paused for a moment and opened her eyes, running her tongue over the edge of her pearly whites.

“But most of all, I love the way he makes me vulnerable. I never knew what love was until I met him. I guess you could say it was love at first sight.” A laugh rumbled up from her chest and she smiled warmly as pesky fingertips ran helplessly through her raven tresses for comfort. “I knew from the very moment I saw him that one day he would be mine. I practically made it a mission, and gods… did I succeed. That’s what makes him so special. His capability of being mine.”
